WARNING! Use this guide at your own risk! If your carrier doesn't officially support tethering you may be charged extra data fees!
- Step 1
Jailbreak your iPhone with blackra1n RC3 or later. This will get your phone all ready for tethering.

Navigate to this tutorial page on your iPhone. It can easilly be reached at http://appleguru.org/i

If AT&T is your carrier, tap the appropriate option below to install the proper mobile config file:

iPhone Data PlanTap to install. For AT&T w/ legit iPhone data plan

Other Data PlanTap to install. For AT&T w/ non-iPhone data plan
If AT&T is not your carrier, find an appropriate mobileconfig file for your carrier and install it.

On your iPhone, go to Settings --> Network --> Tethering and enable tethering. That's it, you're done!
